What a week! The senior students specializing in English followed the U.S. elections in the library, a media and political event with international impact! With exhibits, program analysis, and a debate on the results, along with reflections on the use of media in the campaign (fake news, social media influence, conspiracy theories…), presentations of cultural resources on the United States (literature, cinema, documentaries…) and a spotlight on “the banned books”…: this deep dive into American society has, we hope, allowed students to gain a better understanding of the country and sharpen their critical thinking skills.
The school librarians.
